Албена Атанасова винаги е била първи номер в училище. С две имена с А, кръстена на дядо си Атанас.
От Димитровград е. В началото в София това ѝ създавало проблеми. С майка си стояли пред ЦУМ и питали хората „Къде е „Дондуков“. Интересно, че трудно случили на някой, който да знае.
На първата ѝ работа отначало я подценили – попитали я как ще се оправи с адресите, че била от провинцията. После я видяли, че е оправна, дали и шанс и години по-късно още са приятели.
В момента Аби е Google Local Guide седмо ниво. Това не само означава, че се оправя с адресите, ами мнението ѝ тежи и в световната мрежа. Като обикаля насам-натам, добавя снимки, места, поправя грешки. Снимките ѝ имат милиони гледания.
Сладкарството ѝ е стихия. Състезава се и обича да е първа. Гледа кулинарни канали денонщно, мечтата на Аби е да има собствена пекарна на гръцкия остров Санторини.
Не си пада по здравословните рецепти. За себе си може и да не приготви нищо, но ако има за кого – готви с кеф. Почти цялата компания Ingram Micro България 
е опитвала банановите мъфини на Аби. Или поне има рецептата, или поне се кани да я поиска. Аби не е ревнива към рецепти, защото вярва, че в споделянето има смисъл. Готви откакто се помни. Първата си торта направила на 7. Прочела първите си срички от готварска книга.
Аби може да чете и на гръцки. Говори бавно, но може да си поръча храна от гръцко меню. „Кремиди“ е „лук“, „портокали и марули“ са си „портокали и марули“.
Ходила е и в Япония – сестра ѝ живяла там известно време. Въпреки че самата Албена е голям екоактивист, японските порядки я изненадали много – “не само рециклираш, но рециклираш по съставни части – капачката едно място, етикетът – на друго, а шишето – на трето.”
Уважавa малки бизнеси, които се грижат за околната среда. Например любимият ѝ бутик за сладолед, откъдето си купува сладолед с тъмна бира и лавандула или другия фаворит: с бяло сирене и мед.
На 33 години за пръв път започнала да яде домати. Просто така ѝ харесвало.
За Аби най-важно е семейството. Защото там винаги хората си прощават. Албена е със седем години по-голямата сестра в семейството. Малко е гузна, че няколко пъти е изпускала бебето, когато се родило. Веднъж излъгала, че не знае защо то плаче. До вечерта си признала и от тогава с лъжите откровено не се разбира. „Вече съм „право, куме, в очи.“ и е по-лесно.“
Аби е завършила педагогика с английски, но попаднала в обслужването на клиенти. В Ingram e oт 7 години и 8 месеца. Приема оплаквания на клиенти за гаранционни ремонти, промоции. Въпреки че обработва човешкото „недоволство“, за нея „работата е песен“.
Работила е и в онлайн казино. Имала е период на денонощна покер игра, но винаги с контрола на първо място. „Не се поддавам на влияние, аз го правех заради социалните контакти на покер масата“. Любимите ѝ клиенти в бранша били английските баби, които играят бинго и се оплакват, че дядовците им гледат футбол.
С нейна приятелка обикалят света: Санторини, Париж, почти всички гръцки острови, били са на круиз.
Най-много се вълнували когато след концерт отишли в гримьорната в Солун при своя любимец Костас Мартакис. Следят го от изгряването му по гръцките риалити формати, 11 години по-късно му отишли на крака. „Свестен тип“, казва Аби.
„Свестен тип“ значи честен и открит – развива мисълта си Албена. „Ако си говорим за мъже, държа на уважението и да не ме приемат за даденост. Никой на никого не е длъжен за нищо.“ Аби отчита основна грешка в отношенията: раздава се във всичко и хората често решават, че това е нормалното.
Когато пътува е най-щастлива. На топло, на морето, обича летенето със самолет и преживява тежките турболенции в сън.
Случило ѝ се веднъж да прекара нощта, отново с нейната най-близка приятелка, върху шахта край парижкото метро, след концерт на Бон Джоуви. „Бяхме като модерни клошари, с лаптоп“, смее се Аби и разказва, че увлекли със себе си и още петдесетина души, които направили същото.
Не шофира. Всички отбелязват завидния ѝ ентусиазъм да стигне навсякъде с градския транапсорт или пеш. Рекордът ѝ е 30 километра, когато се опитала да стигне от затънтено гръцко село до Солун. Накрая една белгийка я качила на стоп, без и двете да знаят, че в Гърция това е незаконно и може да доведе до затвор.
Аби е пътешественик, човекът на 7-мо ниво като Google водач, въпреки че отначало не знаела как да стигне до „Дондуков“. Нейните бананови мъфини променят света на Ingram. Благодарим ти, Аби, продължавай във вкусните пътешествия!
Number One in the lists and Level 7 on Google
Albena Atanasova was always number One in the school lists, with her names starting with A. She’s named after her grandfather Atanas.
Born in Dimitrovgrad, at first, she had 
problems in Sofia because ofthat t . She remembers walking with her mother around The Central Department Store in Sofia asking people “where exactly is Dondukov boulevard”. What is the more interesting part – it was hard to find someone who knew.
In her first job they underestimated her in the beginning – they asked her how she would cope with all the addresses in the capital city. Then they realized she’s very energetic and persistent and gave her a chance. Now, years later, they are still friends.
At the moment Abi is Level 7 of the Google Local Guide rating system. This means not only that she knows well how to cope with addresses, but her opinion matters for the world wide web. While she travels here and there, she adds photos, places, corrects mistakes. Her photos have millions of views.
Confectionary is her element. She enjoys competing and being number One. Abi watches cooking TV shows 24/7 and she dreams of having her own pastry shop on the Greek island Santorini.
She’s not keen on healthy food. When Abi is alone, she prefers not to cook. However, if she has someone to cook for, she is passionate about that. Almost all associates of Ingram Micro in Bulgaria know well the taste of Albena’s banana cakes, or they have the recipe, or at least they are about to ask for the instructions. 
Abi spreads the recipes she has with an open heart because she believes that sharing makes sense. She has been keen on cooking since she was a very little girl. She made her first cake at the age of 7. When she first started reading, she was reading a cookbook.
Abi can read in Greek, as well. She speaks slowly but knows enough to be able to order food in a restaurant with a Greek menu. „Kremidi“ means „onions“, „portokali, maruli“ means “oranges and lettuce“.
Abi has visited Japan – her sister lived there for some time. Although Albena is very ecofriendly she was surprised by the Japanese strict recycling habits – “not only do you recycle, you recycle part by part – you put the tap in one place, the label – 
in a second place and the bottle itself – in the third place.”
Albena respects a lot small businesses which care for the environment. For example, her favorite gelateria where she buys ice cream with dark beer and lavender or, her second favorite: with white cheese and honey.
At the age of 33 she first started eating tomatoes. It is just the way she likes it.
Abi’s top one priority is her family. Within the family, she says, you can always forgive. Albena is the elder sister – her sister is 7 years younger. When they were little girls, Abi let the baby fall several times. Later she lied she didn’t know what’s the reason for the baby’s cry. However, her conscience could not stand it and she admitted her liability. That was when she stopped lying. “Now I go straight to the point and it is always easier.”
Abi studied Pedagogy with English but she ended up in the Customer Service sector. She has been working for Ingram for 7 years and 8 months. She deals with clients’ claims, service guarantees, promotions. Although she is working with people’s frustration, she says that her job is “like a song” (in Bulgarian this expression means that she likes her job a lot).
Albena has also some experience in an online casino. She had a period when she played poker 24/7 but always kept gambling under control. „I am not vulnerable to influencing, I did it because of the socializing on the poker table”. Her favorite clients were the elderly British women playing bingo and complaining that their husbands were watching football matches.
Abi and a very close friend of hers travel around the world: Santorini, Paris, almost all Greek islands, they were also on a cruise.
Their most exciting memory is the day when they went to a concert of their favorite Greek singer Kostas Martakis. The girls had been following his career from the very beginning when he participated in some reality shows. 11 years later they entered his make-up room in Thessaloniki. “A nice guy”, Abi says.
„A nice guy“ means honest and sincere – Albena clarifies. “If we talk about men, I appreciate when they respect me and not take me for granted. No one owes anything to anybody.” Abi finds her main mistake in her relationships with the others: she gives a lot in all she does and people often get used to it.
She is happy when she is on the road. Warm, seaside places, Abi enjoys planes and when there is a turbulence, she usually sleeps.
Once she happened to spend the night with her closest friend around the ventilation outlet of the Paris subway, just after a Bon Jovi concert. „We looked like modern bums – with a laptop”, Abi laughs. They attracted about 50 more people to join them.
Albena doesn’t have a driving license. Everyone admires her enthusiasm to always find a route on foot or via the l public transportation lines. She has her own record: 30 kilometers on foot – it was when she tried to walk from a Greek village to Thessaloniki. In the end a Belgium woman gave her a ride. Neither of them knew at that time that hitchhiking is not allowed in Greece and you can end up in jail.
Abi is a traveller, a 7-level Google guide who in the beginning didn’t know some of the most famous boulevards in Sofia. Her banana cakes change Ingram Micro’s world. Thank you, Abi, keep going with your tasty journeys!
