Покупки, цени, числа и Ексел – всеки ден с това работи Христо – от три години в Ingram. Заедно с него, в домашния офис, работи и 3-годишният му син Симеон. Съсредоточен и сериозен. Иска да пие кафе от същата чаша като баща си.
Симеон научил Ицо да е по-търпелив, да изслушва. Шегува се, че откакто се е родил, приоритетите са се променили: „Първо е той, после жената, после родата на жената и после съм аз. И после колата.“
Христо Христов е от Враца. Чувал е много легенди за града си – например „Враца, където гарга не каца“, но ги довършва с достойство: „...защото е гнездо на орли.“
От втората си година като студенти в София работи. Застраховател по образование. Първо приемал стока в един хранителен магазин, занимавал се и с документацията, и с касата, и с ревизиите. Изгледал е много часове записи от камери, за да види къде са стоките, които липсват. Не било постоянно, но се е случвало няколко пъти да вижда крадци.
За Ицо е важна истината, дори да е неприятна. Лъже само за изненади. И колко пари е похарчил за колата. „Ето, жените си сменят обувките, аз си сменям комплекта гуми с джанти.“ Сега има четири комплекта в мазето. Абсурд да държи колата отвън – пази я грижливо в подземен гараж. Край големите вериги за пазаруване спира най-далеч до входа, за да не му я одраска някой. Преди години бащата на Христо имал автомивка и от малък той се е учил да се грижи за автомобилите. Иска сам да си мие колата, да си пази боята и джантите. На BMW-то посвещава почти цялата си неделя – много го обича! „Време за лю“бимата“. Съпругата му е приела тази странична любов. Христо ходи и по събори, но не я тунингова – „Мина ми времето да се правя на състезател.“
Предал страстта и на сина си. Имат традиция на изключена кола и без ключ да го слага на шофьорското място и да го учи къде са скоростният лост, педалите, воланът. И получил в замяна признание като за супергерой: „Тате, искам да папкам, да порасна голям като теб, да стигам педалите.“
Ицо е перфекционист. Ходи и подрежда. И вкъщи, и на работа. И в колата. Увлечен е по технологиите. Още като малък, във времето на видеокасетите, след детската градина сам си пускал филмчетата. Бързо се учи, схватлив е и се справя. Палачинките не са му силата. Веднъж се провалил в обръщането им и се скъсали – от тогава се разочаровал. Не управлява хора, но би опитал – „Срамежлив съм, трябва да опозная човек преди да му се доверя“.
Случвали са му се предателства. Затова има едно наум преди да вярва изцяло. Щастието и семейството са му на първо място, мечтае си за дървена къща с двор. Не е по отглеждането на растения или животни – може да си засади само райграс. И жив плет за ограда, че не иска бетон. Куче може – като се пенсионира. Много тежко преживял старостта на френската болонка, с която израснал, и сега е без домашен любимец.
Ицо е скромен, взискателен и с него можеш да се разбереш, стига да не му надереш колата. Баща, на когото синът му иска да прилича. Човек на думата и на реда.

The father who doesn’t miss an opportunity to wash his car
Purchasing, prices, figures and Excel – this is the daily routine for Hristo – an Ingram Micro associate for the last 3 years. In his home office, he works together with his 3-year-old son Simeon. The kid is also very concentrated and engulfed in the tasks. He insists on drinking “coffee” from a cup just like his father’s one.
Simeon taught Itso to be more patient and to improve his listening skills. Hristo jokes that since his son was born, the priorities have changed: “Simeon is first, then my wife, then the relatives of my wife, then it’s me. Then it is my car.”
Hristo Hristov was born in Vratsa. He is aware of the legends around the town – for example, “Vratsa is a place where even a raven wouldn’t land” – but he always finishes the sentence with dignity – “because there are eagles’ nests around”.
Itso has been working since his second year at university. He studied Insurance. His first job was to take care of the goods in a supermarket, he was responsible for the documents, the cash desk, and the revision process. He watched hours of camera recordings to find where the missing goods were. Several times he saw the thieves on record.
Truth matters to Itso, even if it’s not very pleasant. He lies only when he needs to organize a surprise or has to explain how much money he has spent on the car service. „Well, women change shoes, I change my wheel and tyre sets. Now he has four sets in the basement. It is out of the question that he parks his car outside – it is always parked in the underground garage. When he goes to a supermarket Hristo always chooses the most distant parking place – he wants to be sure that no one will scratch his car by accident. Years ago, Itso’s father had a car wash and then he learned how to take care of an automobile. Hristo insists on washing his car by himself, this way he keeps the good condition of the paint and the wheels. Itso dedicates most of his Sundays to his BMW – he loves it that much! „Time for the lover”. His wife got used to this affair. Hristo enjoys visiting car events, but he doesn’t fine-tune his car – „It doesn’t suit my age any more to pretend to be a racer”.
Hristo infected his son with his passion. They have built a tradition to get into the car, with the engine off and no key on the starter d. Hristo puts Simeon on the driver’s seat and explains to him where the gear shift, the pedals and the steering wheel are. So, for his attention and care, Hristo got in return a superhero award: “Daddy, I would like to eat in order to grow up and be able to reach the pedals.”
Itso is a perfectionist. He tidies up everything and everywhere – at home and at work, and in the car. He is keen on technology. When he was little, at the time of video cassettes, he used to watch cartoons by himself, manually turning on the recorder. A fast learner. However, pancakes are not his strength. Once he failed to flip one over, it fell apart and he got disappointed. Hristo is not a manager, but he would like to try to manage people – “I am shy, I need to know a person before I trust him.” Hristo has been betrayed. This is why he has it in mind. Happiness and the family are the most important things for him, he dreams of a house and a yard. However, he is not a fan of farming, so he could only grow a grass lane. Also, maybe a floral fence because he doesn’t like concrete. Dogs will be allowed when Hristo retires. Now, he doesn’t have a pet, because he remembers how difficult it was when his first French dog was old and then died.
Itso is a modest guy, a very strict one. You can get along easily with him, as long as you do not scratch his car. His son adores him and wants to be like him. Hristo is a man of his word and a man of order.
