The Invoice transaction contains financial information on invoiced orders reflecting most of the information appearing on standard invoices. It is recommended that the paper invoices should be retained for legal purposes.
The purpose of the Invoice transaction is to provide detailed financial information in the areas of product charges, tax charges and miscellaneous charges so that this invoicing information can be utilized / processed within a partner’s order and invoice management system. One XML invoice will be sent for each IM order invoice.
The customer must provide a postback URL to which the transaction is to be posted.
